Derma Product Development Candidate (6 - 8 Years Of Experience Required)

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop robust topical Rx and OTC products.
Develop Topical Creams, lotions and ointments with the help of Technical and Analytical Services.
Perform lab work associated with development and manufacture of drug products.
Work on product development activities of multiple projects simultaneously.
De novo product development of topical formulations and perform other bench experiments to support development.
Write and review technical documents including formulation development protocols and reports, SOPs, specifications, and other necessary technical documents.
Work with Technical Services on process development to support commercial scale up.
Participate in multi-disciplinary project teams through the complete product development cycle.
Organize, design and execute experiments to support product development.
Establish drug product specifications, BMR, BPR and Validation protocols and reports required for filing dossier.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

A strong understanding of formulation development, the product development cycle, and Pharmaceutical regulations including cGMP.
Good written, oral communication and word processing skills.
Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team-based environment is required.

Decision Making Impact:

Ability to design experiments to produce robust formulas acceptable for commercial manufacturing.
Ability to understand and establish priorities on multiple projects simultaneously within the product
development cycle.
Ability to work under moderate supervision.

Communication & Interaction:

Interact closely with other members of R&D in an atmosphere encouraging open and constructive exchange of ideas.
Participate in interdisciplinary teams and meetings.
Present development updates to project teams.
Ability to communicate and interact with internal and external customer based on complex opportunities.
